Do you need to know if your facility is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)? Universal Designers & Consultants (UD&C) has completed thousands of ADA facility surveys and provided consulting services in every state, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam and Canada. We can evaluate your existing facilities and properties for ADA compliance, and outline steps and specific changes needed to bring your facility into compliance and/or improve overall accessibility. We can identify issues, provide photos, offer prioritized recommendations and alternatives, as well as cost estimates for remediation. We tailor our report and deliverables to address your specific needs and technical systems. We can provide references to the 1991 ADAAG, and the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, as well as state and model code provisions. The process and criteria used in our analysis as well as report formats are worked out with each client on a case-by-case basis.

UD&C can help you utilize your own staff to conduct your surveys.
UD&C has developed self-survey analysis systems for use by our clients. The self-survey format works well when there are multiple sites to be surveyed and the client has (internal or contractor) personnel that can handle the task. You don't have to "go it alone." We customize our forms and provide training to meet your needs. We can:
