We can help with a wide variety of services.
Our expertise includes compliance with the Fair Housing Act Accessibility Guidelines (FHAAG), Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Standards (2010 Standards), and assisting designers and developers in meeting (or exceeding) the letter and spirit of those regulations.
We can assist you in meeting all of your accessibility needs, from determining the accessibility of one facility to developing an entire corporate accessibility management program and ADA compliance strategy.
Single-Family Housing
If you've ever seen family members or friends "age out" of their houses, then you know what happens when a house can't support the needs of its occupants. It doesn't have to be that way. With our Residential Design Services we can help you make changes in your home that will allow you to:
- Control your destiny
- Live safely and comfortably
- Age in place
- Live independently, and
- Enhance your home's visitability
We can design features for your new or existing home that will enable you to live safely and comfortably as your needs change. We can help you make your home more visitable/accessible to neighbors, friends or family members who have mobility impairments. We can design improvements to your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, entrance/foyer, home office, great room, deck—any room or all rooms in your single family home, condo or apartment. We can also help you find appliances, hardware, fixtures and accessories for your home that will blend with its décor and make everyday tasks easier and safer.
We are happy to work with your architect or provide guidance on your project. Contact us to discuss your ideas large or small.
